AutoCAD title block file losing thickness after import

AutoCAD title block file losing polyline thickness after import to Revit.

 

Also texts are getting messed-up too...

 

Any solution for this ?

I think you have to manage this in AutoCAD...place Polylines of similar Width/Line Types on separate Layers and then in Revit under "Object Styles" >> "Imported Objects" tab assign the specific width and line pattern for each Layer. 

 

For the text, you need to be more specific...Type of font you are using in DWG, single/multiline text?...and last but not least what do you mean by messed-up? it gets displaced, it becomes gibberish text....etc

Text are used in Autocad not Mtext. But even if Mtext is used there is no help.

Revit will not respect Mtext with override in the text editor. In the property, the contents will look like a gibberish text. This is why you see text are all over the place when you link it into Revit.

So you may have to explode the text in AutoCAD so it is just normal text showing properly in the property.

normal text will work with revit.png
