Assembly - views appear empty

Hello,

I have created a series of assemblies and the corresponding assembly views. The 3D View: 3D Ortho and schedules appear but none of the Detail views appear when opened up. (they are not hidden)

Has anybody had this problem, or know of a solution?

Thanks

a few thoughts:

Are you actually looking at an assembly view listed under Assemblies?

Is your view's Far Clip setting appropriate?

Is your view's Discipline set correctly?

Is your view's Phase correct?

Hi @jade3T6SG ,

I was wondering if you have found a solution to this problem, or what the cause was. I have the same issue and do not know how to fix it.

I've figured out what my issue is. Don't know if your situation was the same. I created an assembly from a family with nested (shared) families. For some reason …. the nested families aren't visible.

The solution (eventhough its a lot of work and not really practical) is creating assemblies from the nested families. You need to choose every nested family seperately with the "tab" button and then create the assembly.

Can also be done with dynamo and the create assembly node from steamnodes.
