Assembled stair help request for SOP of tread

trying to create a stair using structural channel to use as a structural steel staircase. I have no problem changing the side of the stair to use said channel. My issue is controlling the position of the tread and I have tried every setting to modify to the required (at least I think I have). I have tried to control the stringer Depth from run which pushes the side down, but I cannot adjust to have a negative value so that it side move up.

In Below sketch (drawn in Acad) the top tread shows the requirement to have the SOP (Setting Out Point) on the top front corner of the tread. The bottom tread shows what appears to be Revit's SOP at present, which is bottom back. X If I try to input a negative value it flags up an error. Please advise exact procedure if there is a solution.

Note the SOP should always stay in the same spot irrespective of tread length and/or depth and the angle of the run.

I have tried adjusting the side profile which does not seem to have any affect (Bottom Left, Top Right, Middle Centre....)

If you want to the top configuration then use a railing, instead of stringer, for support.

Or create a special tread profile but it only works if all of your stairs have exactly the same rise/run.

@ToanDN

The First Method you suggested doesn't seem to offer that optionSupport.png

Second Method seems to work, but will need to play with it a bit more when I have time see effect of level changes and treads.

You advised " If you want to the top configuration then use a railing, instead of stringer, for support." There is no option for setting railing as the support. Maybe misunderstanding your statement. Perhaps show screenshot or two to show what you mean. Thanks for the tips by the way.

It means you create a railing with the shape and size of the stringer.
