Hello,
I am trying to array an object and it keeps going in the wrong direction. I want it to array to the right but it keeps going to the left. I have no clue why it keeps doing this. I've tried it on the floor plan and the elevation.
Process:
1) Pick object, array, set options to linear, Number: 5, Move to: Last
2) Pick objects midpoint, Pick reference line which is to the right and it arrays in the wrong direction.
The array is correct but going in the wrong direction. Makes no sense.

Are you sure you get the the Work Plan dialog by go to Architecture or Structure tab and click Set button? Do not select any element when you do the above. This is to access the View's work plane, not the element's work plane.
That's where I am at. The drop down doesn't give me an option for Level 5.
It appears Truss Bearing is indeed a Level, so your view's work plane is good. I am not sure what else causes the issue without looking at the file.
Yea, I don't know. I opened one of my training files from my course and retried the array exercise and it worked just fine. I would like to continue this conversation Monday if you don't mind. I will send drawing file over Monday. Thanks for you help.
I was trying to array the corbels on my parapet. I already put them in but I still would like to figure out why it wasn't arraying correctly.
Are you working with tiled views? Sounds to me like you are just misreading what you are seeing. Been there; done that. Coincidently, always on a Friday too. ![]()
Morning,
Here is a link for my file.

Try and do the Array in a plan, 3D view? Make sure you hit the "top" button on the cube in the top right corner of the 3D view so you're in a perfect plan view.
