Array Issue in family

Hi,

I am trying to create a pigeon hole casework and have arrayed the vertical dividers but cannot get the formula to work for the Horizontal Adj shelf. They are both families that I have loaded in and arrayed. Revit says that it cannot find solution for formula.

Any suggestions?

You're mixing type and instance parameters.  Try changing those to Type.

id start by narrowing down where the issue is. if you remove the 2 array and 2 Divider formulas, does the basic No of... parameters work? if they do, then the issue id with the Devider/Array formulas.

like @Anonymous suggests set all your parameters your using in formulas to the same class, either all Type or all Instance.

Using a Type parameter in a formula driving an Instance parameter in the host family shouldn't be a problem...The error implies that a formula in the nested families is not satisfied by the formulas defined in the host...Edit the nested families and if you have any formulas, remove them
