Array component with rotation

I created a frame which is a component created by model in place around a hole with sweep function. I wanted to array the component to every hole. After array, the components did not rotate and even broke apart.

Anyone can give me some solutions? Thanks!

I would build the trim into a window family, load and place an instance of that family on the project wall, and then radial array it.

Take base in the middle of the radial array and write it in the upper line which is Green, if this method didn't work try to close Revit and reopen it again and try.

It is possible to do this in th project

However i would be eassier and more efficent if you first created a loadbale family.

In general consider one offs for in place families. As soon as you create several instances you should be better off with loadable families

In your case when you go to edit inplace family and you select one of the sweeps you will see this

Capture2.JPG

This means this sweep is connected to a workplane, preventing it to rotate.

When you click on it this associaion is removed and you can rotate the object
