For some reason, the hatches in the legend are printing much darker. For context, I am printing to pdf as raster.
You are using model patterns and model patterns are affected by the Floor Plan scale...the larger the scale value is the grayer the pattern gets.
There isn't much you can do about that

You can but drafting patterns are not really suitable for surface patterns...Try an 8''x8'' crosshatch drafting pattern on a wall then change scale of the view and you will understand better what I mean.

Something's not right though. The area is using drafting pattern - not model pattern- and the coloring is still different. Also, I feel like Revit is printing vector instead of raster even though the setting is set to raster.
In larger scale pattern will appear Halftone. there is nothing you can do
Are you able to attach a .rvt file or a partial model if you can't share all? (Copy Elements in question to a new black model)
