Sure you can do that in Revit. Where are you struggling exactly?
...an Image Underlay would be one approach (of many). You could do the artsy farty stuff in another software and bring it into Revit as an Image.
My struggle is with the terrain and hedges. To make an underlaying image, could be done, i would much rather have a solution there could be done in revit. ![]()
I just gave a solution on how you could do something artsy farty like that in Revit - a BIM Software. But you can certainly do all that artsy farty stuff directly in Revit - a BIM Software. Hard to advise you on a creative process though - especially not knowing your skill level. I would suggest researching for approaches using Google.
Look at what I found by inputting the keywords "Revit" and "Watercolor". That's what I'm seeing in your screenshot. A watercolor effect.

Create a custom material and add it to a new floor type. Use the floor type to create the water colour site effect.
After that, do the 2 view over top of one another on a sheet trick. One view will be set to rendered, and only show your grass/trees/ect. The other will only be your plan elements. Drag the rendered view on first, then the plan view, and line them up and bobs your uncle!

Do you think you can show me how to create a custom materiel with that effect?? I can't figure it out.
Get a high quality image from the internet and set the texture size as big as your lot or even bigger so that the material does not need to tile.
