i have been using Revit trial version (2021) for four days so far, just today [the 4th day] my desk top computer is shutting down during work on Revit and without any warning. this happened twice and after each shutting, i re-opened the computer and started up the software and then, after few minutes time the computer shut off again.
can anyone advice on the reason and solution to avoid the continuous shut down?
many thanks
Zinah
try to update your windows OS, install latest updates from autodesk, install latest updates of graphics card driver and untick use hardware acceleration from options and see if these helps. thanks
check also your computer specs if meet the system requirements to run Revit 2021. thanks

Most likely it is something having to with your computer and/or system configuration not playing nice with Revit. Are you trying to use the cloud for your models?
I might try a reinstall of Revit just to rule out a bad installation.
It could also be the model itself. Does this happen with other models?
Sounds like overworked hardware. Weak PSU, lack of cooling etc.
Does it happen when you work with other resource-hungry applications?
Try to run some benchmark programs to load up the CPU and see if that happens too.
Monitor temps and voltages.
