Architect blueprint(sheets) example

hello everyone,

Can you help by showing some examples of detailed construction documents that were actually created for construction.
We have some issues arising and I would like to see how they were resolved by people working with the program.

For example - do you show net clearance/head height (H) in floor plans, how beams are shown in floor plans

thanks for sharing.

Hello! We tend to show this information on ceiling plans instead.. we have custom ceiling tags that have the ceiling height (head height) same for any beam elements that might impeach head room. Hope this is of assistance!

Thnak you for replay @Anonymous.

do you mind to share with 2 sheet of the same level (floor and celing) to explain what you have just worte?

(ofcourse delete all the project information).

I share with you floor plan of floor number 6.

as you can see I mention on the plan the net highet and also the beam above me (at the ceiling of floor 6).

I'm not sure what you are asking.  Annotate it with a Tag or Keynote or Text. Reference line type in a Legend. Maybe a Callout is necessary.  Any and all are appropriate.  Legibility and consistency is what you are after.   But, there may be a "Blue Book" standard or convention to follow in your part of the world.

Hi @barthbradley and thank you for taking part in the discussion.

I'll try to explain myself.

I work as an architect and in my country, when people use to work on AutoCAD, they normally use to create only floor plans.

as an architect, you always need to pay attention to net head height and the beam above your level.

so they took the structural engineer plan from the level above and copy paste the AutoCAD beam layer to their own floor plan and change the line type to DASHED. After that the calculate the net head hight all over the level and wrote it on some text box on the plans.

That day, when we work on 3D coordination model, in my opinion, all that things we use to do is not necessary.

why? Because by creating a "live" (in few seconds) section you can always know what the net head hight and the beams above you. Additional its soo easy to create a reflected ceiling plan.

I wouldn't object to continue with it unless there was a "BIM WAY" to do that, I don't allow to write a text that doesn't report a true information!

as you can see in the picture the "Highet" room parameter doesn't take it into consideration.

1. please dont ask me to create different rooms for every area in the level.

2. please don't ask me to use "underlay" it does not always work.

that the reason I ask people to share their work to see and understand how people work all over the world.

hope you understand.
