Applying textures to a DWG-RFA conversion

Hey, everyone!

My name is Spencer Young, and I work for a company that distributes educational furniture.  Recently, we have forayed into an experiment where we convert our CET models (AutoCAD DWGs) into Revit Families.  The geometry and layers have been a success, but there's been an issue with the textures.  When placing these into a project and setting the shading to "realistic", the models show up with nothing but black/blank textures.  This is a problem, because our furniture should be able to reference our own proprietary textures.  Is there a way for a furniture layer of a drawing to reference a multitude of textures (different colors our products are offered in)?  If this could be solved with a script, that'd be great; there are currently 7,500 families that need texture applications.

Please let me know if there's something I need to clarify
