You can apply it as a Cutout.

Thanks ToanDN,

I'm searching for an application, for example, you create the neighbors as an alpha channel and then you don;t need to ask it into an image.  That's just one example.

At least all the new PBR materials ignore alpha channels, you need to extract the channel and save it as a separate mask grayscale image.

I guess it will be the same for legacy materials.
