Hello,
I am trying to set up my line weights properly to make the drawings readable and pretty ![]()
I assumed that there would be a simple way to download some kind of template or "plot styles" to apply that will handle at least most of the common elements to use that as a starting point, So is there such a thing? If not what would be the fastest way to optimize all the line weights?
How about start with an OOTB Revit project template (Architectural, Structural, MEP)?
Yep, you've got a lot going on there in one View. You don't need a better template. You just need to reduce the amount of information being shown in that one View. Do you really need to show furniture, Room Tags, Floor Surface Pattern, etc. in a View that shows Wall Dimensions? Also, what's going on with that tread numbering? Doesn't make sense. In fact that whole stairwell area looks like a cluster-f*ck. Sorry. Just calling it like it is.
Out of curiosity, what's your View Range Settings and View Visual Style?
Hahaha...You are right!
That wasn't the correct screenshot, I am just testing the annotations and the sheet view templates.
Even with only the dimensions things are not very appealing.
Visual style is hidden
View range 1.2 m

Here is one using OOTB lineweights.
