Aperture Size like AutoCAD?

Is there some sort of setting somewhere that I can change "aperture size" like in AutoCAD? (This was also possible in chief architect when I used it a few years back.) As is, ignoring the fact that the setting probably doesn't exist, my default "aperture size" seems to be 1 pixel wide. This makes trimming lines to each other often require me to click 4 or 5 times per trim simply because the action of clicking causes my hand to move ever so slightly, thereby missing the line I'm trying to trim. Extremely frustrating that I can't find any answer to a problem that shouldn't exist.

There isn't an aperture setting in Revit (or mouse precision/focus/tolerance/similar term).

There's oddly a lack of definitive information in prior threads involving people with either too much or too little sensitivity in their mouseclicks. The suggestions boil down to 'it's your mouse', 'it's your graphics driver', or 'check your hardware acceleration'.

Generally speaking, selection range for an object is determined by its bounding box, plus some (unknown to me) distance offset. So even though a detail line has an extremely small bounding box, the offset should provide some amount of forgiveness in where you click. Anecdotally I'm getting like 16-ish pixels, and its independent of the zoom state or view scale of the view I'm in. A 1-pixel tolerance does seem abnormally low.

Do you have this issue with other workstation/mouse configurations?

1 pixel tolerance might be an over exaggeration, I'm not particularly counting or anything, but it does feel low. Seems to me it may have something to do with being on a 4k tv as my monitor.

I can't really say whether I have the issue with other mice or on another computer to be honest. I have a spare razer mouse I could theoretically test with but I swapped off of that one because of the ever present double click issue razer mice have.

The reason I think it has to do with being on a 4k monitor is because I have similarly unforgiving 'tolerances' with clicks in basic windows functions. Trying to grab the edge of a window to drag it and make it bigger is a task that often takes multiple attempts. Move the same window to my 2nd 1080p monitor and that issue largely disappears
