any work arounds to tag floor type name or other parameters in legend?

Hi, I would like to know if there is any way that I can show tags in a floor legend to pull the floor type name or other parameters. My goal is to have a 'smart' legend. Any input is appreciated. Thank you!

Nope.
It's been on the wish list for years but they still haven't made it possible to actually tag legend components.

Legends display a "symbol" element so that the presence of this symbol does not impact schedules or the actual family used within the project. That's "why" the tag tool does not work on them...so far.

Some firms uses a different approach to manage such "legend" views. One approach is to use two phases "in front" of the project or a phase at the "end" of the project. In either method you model an instance of the actual floors (ceilings, doors etc.) in the separate phase and tag, document etc in a model view dedicated to that phase.

Then duplicate (dependent) this view for as many places as this "legend" needs to be used in your documentation. For phases that are in front these elements need to be demolished in the next second phase. If the "end" phase is used it isn't necessary to demolish them unless additional phases become necessary for the project. Any new phases need to be placed "in front" of the legend phase. Sounds complicated but it really isn't and if it is configured in the office templates it is already "done", just needs to have new component types added as required.
