Any hack to show room tags from a different phase?

I know it can't be done and rooms only exist in one phase, but maybe someone figured something out.

I'm creating a "Demo plan" and a "Build plan". First one shows what's being demolished, second one shows what's being newly built.
The only plan I have problems with is the Demo plan. It should be done on the plan view of existing building.
I'm demolishing everything in "New construction" phase so I'm using "New" plan view with "Show previous + Demo" phase filter.

But since I'm on the new construction plan, room tags from existing phase can't be shown.

I thought about creating a separate "demo" phase, demo everything in it and in that phase put in doors and windows in existing walls which aren't demoed. But then I can't show those doors and windows as new in "Build plan", since in that plan they exist in previous phase.

Attaching example file in case I got phase filter and overrides wrong and there is actually a way to do this.

The only thing I came up is isolating rooms and tags on a separate view and overlaying it over demo plan on the sheet.

Works OK, just wondering if there's a more straightforward way.

I would create a room tag model family to allow phasing. See attached

Thanks for the idea, but that would be a lot of manual typing i.e. a lot of opportunities for errors. I try to avoid that as much as I can.

Your only option is to create another existing view and turn off all object except for the room and tag. Then superimpose the view and the demo plan in the sheet to get your existing room to show in your demo plan.

Use view filters instead of phase filter

- Set the view phase to Existing, phase filter to Show All

- Create filters based on Phase Created and Phase Demolished

- Add filters to demo view and override graphics to your liking
