Was trying to create a bit of data called a reference to link each view to another project's view number and sheet. I added the REF parameter to the view list/project parameters for views and tried to fill them into the view schedule. They were greyed out even though it was an instance property.
Here's the gotcha: When you add a view parameter, that parameter gets added to every view template and automatically gets checked. This means they are unchangeable even though they are instance properties. Boy, the system works against us here. I had to go into each template and uncheck that parameter so that I could add the reference text.
Another gotcha: Can't add sheet detail numbers to a view list.
