Annoying bugs Revit 2024.2: Type editing and Save as

1. While editing type properties, the table jumps.

2. If element is selected while saving, somthing blocks the view.

Hi @atir5UTNF

Thanks a lot for posting your question to the forums!   Bizarre behaviour indeed, tagging @SteveKStafford @Alfredo_Medina @ToanDN, who may be able to assist.

We look forward to hearing back from you with more information so we can help you as a community!

About the second:

It happens even if no element is selected.

The box is always show the current type in the "Properties".

I think it happans because when I click "File" -> go down to "Save as" the mouse cursor is above the "Current type" drop down and the time for mouse hover is still counting and than show the tooltip box.

Hi,

The first one is not really a bug of 2024.2, is in each version.

It happens because the cell that has the input is taken into visible area (whole cell), so as the combined width of all columns is wider than the dialog it forces the cell into view.

Reduce the width of the second column or increase the dialog width.

The second one is also known, haven't had a real issue with it. Some say to disable or change the tooltip assistance setting so it won't show as fast or at all if it causes issues.
