Hi,
I modeled a family and used a generic annotation on it so i can create some visible dimensions when i load it on project environment.
The problem is, those annotations that rotate (in order to follow the lines of my element) are being moved way more than it should be.
In the family Editor (Print 1), those annotations are working perfectly when i change the Type, but when i do the same with this family when i'm in the project envionment (Print 2) they are moving differently from the Family Edit Environment.
Version: Revit 2019
What could possible be the problem here? Any ideas?
Thanks
Arthur
Looks like those dimensions were forced to be leader types. Same view scale? Same Dim settings?
BTW, what are we looking at?
Scale is the same, but the dimensions were parameterized to be always (taking as example variable "a" and "L") the Lenght of the Line divided by 2, so whenever the type is changed, the dimension will keep his position in relation to the object.
"BTW, what are we looking at? "
I believe its called, in english, Headwalls or Swale Inlet, something like this, it is used at the finish of pipes
