Annotations for doors

Hi,

I have arrows in a sliding door family noting how the door opens. The door is located on level 1 and the arrow can be seen on this floor plan (which is what I want). However it can also be seen on the site plan (not what I want). Is there any way to have control over the view depths that annotations in families travel?

Thanks for any help

Associate the arrow to a Subcategory that you can turn off in the view.

You can create an unique Object style (Subcategory) in the door family and assign the Arrow to it. Then turn that Subcategory off for the Site plan in project.

For Arrow Visibility... Easiest would be

Coarse - Switch off ( Site Plan )

Medium - On

Fine On ( Other Floor Plan

you may use existing Parameters within window to control the graphics..

place or recreate those arrow lines in " Plan Swing "

and switch them off in " Site Plan " ..

Best luck
