I think there is a glitch with a specific view with annotations and text. The annotations are large, and the texts are scrambled with the leaders moved all over the place. However, the same text and annotations on another sheet is fine.
This is what the view looked like a few days ago:
This is what the view looks like currently:
As you can see the millwork tag is gigantic and the text leaders are scrambled.
I did a check and created the same tag in the view that is glitched/corrupted and it inputs the correct size.
When I select all instances of the same type, both annotations are selected (the big and the normal size one)
Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? I tried duplicating the sheet to see if it will fix itself but the large and scramled annotations were still there. I'm nervous that there are other views in the project that has this problem.
Please help!
Replied to a post at RevitForum.org today regarding something similar except just a tag family. He edited the family by moving the text right 1" and then back so reloading the family would trigger an update. That fixed the tag in the view it was happening in.
Text in different views isn't the same text, the text type is but technically the individual text elements are different (GUID).
It sounds like a failure to regen the view elements properly, like after a scale change and then changed back for example. We've seen view corruption occur in the past for undetermined reasons. Applying a different View Template has sometimes reset a view, causing a regen. Worth trying something like that too.
