Annotation/Text keeps showing black when printing.

Hi Guys!

I'm working on a project that requires couple of phases. When changing the phase the duct and pipes turn gray but my duct tags or text disappear. If add a text on the new phase but want to show that text as ETR (existing to remain), how can I do that?

Thank you!

Renato

Text is only view specific and is not effected by phases. You need to make a view for each phase, but maybe I don't understand your question.

Hey Marc

Let me be more specific with my issue.

I'm working on this project where some ducts, branches and flex are going to be demolish in different phases. At the moment, I have a view with all the existing mechanical equipment and ducts (All the ducts are tagged same as my mechanical equipment). Once that was done, I selected which ducts were going to be demolish in new construction Then, I duplicated that floor plan view and changed the phasing to 'New Construction' and phase filter 'show previous and new' so I can see the new floor plan with only the existing duct and equipment. I started to design my new duct until I noticed that all the tags were gone. I re-tagged all the existing ducts again and the new ducts as well. However, the tags of the new ducts show black (which is what I want) but the duct tags of the existing duct show black as well and not gray like the existing duct. Is it possible to show the ducts tags gray and not black? since they are to remain.

Thank you for your response Marc

Phase graphic overrides only affect model elements, not annotations. You either use a different tag type with gray labels for the existing ducts, or select them and override graphic in view to halftone.
