Dear Revit community.
As I am making some section views i noticed that if i am annotating a generic model, the annotation shifts and doesn't snap to the point of the section itself. I've tried to unselect snap settings, alligned and linear dimensions, different views, setting the workplane at the section.. but nothing helps.
A thing that i noticed is that the distance of the shift is the exact same as the perpendicular distance from the endpoint of the generic models geomerty (take a look at the sketch).
Perpendicular annotation
I noticed that annotations in Revit are a mess but is there a way around this or do i have to cheat on this one? Like: export to a .dwg, add annotations in autocad, delete everything except for the annotations, and then import is in the view?
Is someone fimiliar with this, has a solution, has some alternatives or knows what i'm doing wrong?
Thanks for your time!
Greetings
Jens
