Annotation label with Subcategory

Hi all,

I have a project were I place different types of components all together, families with Annotation Label Text (lets call them Component A, Component B and Component C)

Then within different sheets I need to show all of the components but not all of the Text (in Sheet "Components A" I need to show all of the components but just the Label text of the Components A)

Normally I would just turn on/off the visibility of the subcategories in Sheet properties, but it is not possible to add subcategories to Label Text. And if I use visibility parameters to the text, when I turn on/off each of them, I does it but to all the Sheets at the same time.

Thank you.

for component A, B and C as  3D families, make a shared Generic Model family with the required text, and nest this family into component A, B or C. For different visibility requirements, make different Family and/or Types.

In the project you can make a filter [ Generic Model, Family and Type ]  to turn the text off.

@FAIR59's solution works, but it's rather clunky.  I'd much rather be able to assign the label a subcategory in the generic annotation.  I can do that lines, so it seems an oversight to not be able to do that with labels.

Thinking that it might be possible to make the annotations a group and control the group with a filter,  I'll try this and report back

No silly idea,  only model category items can be controlled

I am an idiot,  control it with a filter per category then family name - doh!
