Hello everyone,
I have All AMD pc build(ryzen 2700x plus amd r9 fury gpu) plus a few laptop with Intel/Nvidia rtx 2060 spec.
Question I'm having issues with Revit 2019 i'm not utilizing all my system cpu never goes beyond 1 core usages gpu hardly even used when viewing a design then will freeze (not responding) when highlighting or selecting parts from building/design.
I already added the hardware acceleration removed and so on.
Question is there another setting i'm missing here? I know my hardware is more then capable to run this software blender and other rendering software run smooth!
Also I understand Revit has certification for certain hardware, but I have done my research.
revit is not multi-threaded its still considered a single threaded application
only parts of the program are multi-core read this: http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2019/ENU/?guid=GUID-718EFE7C-1F2C-4543-8A6F-225E60E23951

I see it now, but what about my issues with AMD graphics card using rx 480 and tried r9 fury.
Revit and Blender use the GPU differently. The latter uses the GPU as a compute device for OpenCL rendering as well as the EVEE display system, while Revit uses it as a display adapter. So you won't see the same levels of activity. CPU, especially base clock speed, and good data management are most important in design software.
