The past two project I have been working on I've been experiencing the same alignment bug. I'm calling it a bug, but wanted to check and see if anyone can spot anything I'm doing wrong. The only thing I can think that I have done differently in these two project is to use grid lines more so than I normally do.
As you can see from the video below, when I try to align certain elements, they behave in an odd manner. I had a terrible time with aligning fascia boards. Had to use different methods it was so bad.

Can you upload the sample file and see if we are able to replicated the same issue?
That´s not a bug, but a unjoin elements warning.
Your floor is joined with another one and you are trying to move, loses its join status, so the Revit warns you.
Unfortunately, we can´t turn off this kind of message, so we have to learn how to live with it ![]()
By sample file are you talking about the project file? Or is the sample file something different that can be exported from the project file?
project file. I want to check if I am having the same issue. Then Autodesk can confirm it is a bug and they will fix it quickly. If I am not having that issue, it could be something in the file that cause that issue.
Please see the attached project file. I can confirm that I re-saved this project under another name, purged the file, and was able to replicate the first mentioned bug.
Let me know what you find.
I look at the file and something is out of wack with the align tool. However if I cut and paste the floor slab at the same location, the floor slab works as intended when I align with the other floor slab. I've check and see if there is constraints and found none. It is bizarre behavior.
Thanks for checking it out syman2000. If this continues to happen in other projects I will bring this up again. Lately, I have not had any issues with this bug.
