Alignment of Plans

Basement and Ground floor plans are not aligning (it appears that they are rotated). How to align levels/floor plans?

If they are modeled in Revit, do one of the following:

- Check Project North/True North of those plan views and make sure they are consistent

- Create a scope box and assign it to both floor plan views

If they are CAD, then there are other ways to fix.

Both are modeled in Revit and orientation is Project North.

Were they ever aligned?

Yes - the same issue that I thought was resolved over this past weekend has resurfaced. Plans are not aligning and look skewed.

So they aren't actually aligned at all.  Did you trace the floor plans from CAD files?  Did you even set up Grid lines?  To confirm, open a 3D view and see.

- Create grid lines in the correct floor plan

- Open one floor plan to be fixed, select everything, make a model group, rotate the group to align with the grid lines

Is this related to your PDF Site Plan thread?

Are you tracing a PDF copy?  Sounds like you did.   PDFs are View-Specific.
