Aligning the Levels

Hello!

Once i was finally able to put a finish on my structural walls, I noticed I had not been consistent with making sure that the wall was facing the right way when drawing the floor plans, so once I switched all the walls to face the correct way it shifted all my floor plans to where they do not line up. How do I fix this, or how can I show an overlay of each level on different floor plan views?

Undo what you did >>> Select a Wall >>> Right click and Select all in project >>> Set location Line to Wall Centerline ...this way when you flip they do not shift

is there a way to show my floor plans from level 2 and 3 on my level 1 floor plan view? this feature was activated when I first started this project and somehow got disabled along the way

You can either Undo the flip and apply what @RDAOU suggest, or use Align tool on the 3D view to align faces of out of place walls to the correct ones, given all the walls facing the correct side now. 

To show underlay of other level on a plan, set Underlay Range: base Level and Top Level in the view properties.

are you able to lock an alignment so that it does not shift when you align another wall?

Or lock to the wall you align to so that they shift together?

Yes you can lock the padlock after aligning walls.

For future reference:

- change the plan view to Medium or Fine detail level when you draw walls so that you can see which layers facing which directions

- keep walls location line as consistent as possible so that if you need to change the wall thickness, the controlled dimensions/locations don't change , i.e.  Finish Face: Exterior for exterior walls, inside of shaft for elevator shaft walls...

Set all walls' location line to Center of wall before flipping them per @RDAOU is a good advice.  I use it to fix incorrect wall orientation quite a lot.  After flipping, you can change the location line to desired side.  So, please give him a solution credit for it.
