Aligned Dimensions for Angled Lines not Matching

I have detail lines in a drafting view that are meant to represent an isometric view so the lines are at 30 degree angles. However when placing an aligned dimension, the angle of the centerline does not match the correct angle(see attached). I have tried selecing different "points" to measure from but they put the centerline at incorrect angles. Is there a way to set the centerline to also be at 30 degrees?

Thanks in advance!

In a 2D drafting view?  Something like the below?  You could create a line based detail family with parameter to angle the dimension line and witness lines.  I would just draft the dimensions (shown below).   Or better, create actual 3D view and dimension it.
