Align Tool suggestion

I feel like the align tool should make it where you can click and drag to select multiple lines to align to something at once instead of having to click individually. This would function the same way the trim/extend multiple tool works where you can click and drag to extend several lines all to the same line. I think this would be a great feature to speed up everyone's workflow.

You have posted it on the wrong forum. I wouldn't vote for it considering the crossing window may select lots of elements which should not and may not be aligned but who knows! it could be useful for someone.

Doesn't "Multiple Align" accomplish what you are asking?  Works the same way as Multiple Trim/Extend.

To my knowledge you still have to click each line individually. I want to be able to click and drag and it highlights several lines and moves them all at once. This would work with lines but it would be difficult to accomplish with anything beyond lines such as families so it's just a working idea.

🤔Hmm? Mine seems to work with most anything.  What Version are you on?  Give me a scenario I can test.

I'm on Revit 2021,

For example earlier I was trying to align all of these floors earlier.

and if I was to move at one lower on the far right, I'd have to click each line to the left individually when their could just be a click and drag to highlight all of them at once to align.

Ah, you mean you don't what to have to pick multiple elements one-by-one. How else would Revit know what to Align? An approach that would work in that scenerio, would be if the lines were all Aligned and Locked to a Ref. Plane, and then instead of picking the lines to Align, pick the Ref. Plane and let it pull whatever is locked to it along for the ride. 

...I think the function you are looking for is "Noun-Verb Selection".  That is, select the objects before the command. Like AutoCAD.  I'd vote for that.

Alignment using a multiple selection using a crossing window is not a 3D world thing. You are not selecting elements/components, but a line or surface hence the single pick selection.

You can still try your luck on Ideas forum but before you do that, give it another thought because even if you are lucky and get that option "window select"  you would still be required to pick which face/surface of an object should be aligned...that would make things more complicated
