Adjusting the distance direction between two reference plane. (Revit Family)

Hello I am practicing on Revit family and I was modelling parametric shelf with brackets. I am trying to do everthing in parametric but when I combine shelf and bracket families I can't change bracket's measurements due to it's change direction. As you can see from the image 1 when "h" value changes It tries to push the top where different Revit family is and it causes an error. Thats why I want to alter "change direction" and tried to pin one reference plane and leave the other. But then it still causes an error as you can see from the image 2. I also uploaded my Revit file, so I would appreciate it If you can help me.

Just do it in the Project.  Either via "Elevation From Level" or "Offset From Host" Instance Parameter

Hello thank you for your reply but as I will be moving on complicated projects I would like to prevent doing manually. So If there is a more proffesional way to handle that It would be more appropriate for me and others as well.
