Adjusting Levels lagging model & load time

Working in 2024.2:
Does anyone know why my model is lagging (a few minute load time) when I try to adjust the extents of the level lines in elevation views? There are 14 levels that are locked together that seems to cause the issue. The model doesn't lag and works normally when I unlock one of the level lines and adjust it individually. I fee like adjusting 14 levels simultaneously should be bogging down my model so much. What am I missing here?

Maybe some routine model maintenance is in order.

I've Audited, purged, compact saved a few times now and it makes no difference.

I can see how a highly-developed model with so many locked level would lag when adjusting one level.

Maybe it's time to break up the Model?  Out of curiosity, how big is the RVT?

Make sure you are stretching 2D extent, not 3D extent.  If you do need to adjust 3d extent, it is better to associate the levels with a scope box, or use maximize 3d extent context menu.
