Additional grid when importing IFC file??

Hi,

Is anyone having a same problem.

When importing an IFC file, Revit create an extra grid in the model. There is still a default grid under?

This extra grid is attached to the IFC file, so if I try to delete it, the whole model will be erased??

I tried to import different IFC files, which are exported from different softwares. It creates an extra grid every time???

I am using Revit 2019.

It doesnt matter if I´m using file -> open -> IFC or "link IFC" commands.

Help please!

You can turn the grid off in visibility settings  (in template or for the view) for your linked file --> custom --> set annotation to custom --> turn off grid.

Ideally you could turn off shared grids: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/learn-explore/caas/simplecontent/content/turn-...
