Adding Sweep on Wall Type

Hi

I am trying to add a Seep to a Wall type 

How do I get the seep to lay on top of the wall not on the side 

See pic 1 that's what I got and Pic 2 is what I am trying to do I cant figure out how to do it

Hello @Anonymous ,

 

I would use a sweep from the wall assembly that would be based from the "top" and "offset" with the value that centers it.

 

When editing the wall structure and switching to section view of the wall, the Sweeps button is clickable. After clicking it, a window pop us and on its 4th column ("From"), you need to choose "Top" and on the 6th one ("Offset"), you need to enter a value to move the profil within the wall thickness.

hi as for my little knowledge what you are trying to do is not't applicable through wall sweep as wall sweep is on wall faces not top or bott.

you could try do it using other commands like beam or model in place

Change the profile to one that is horizontal not vertical

You can also build the sweep into the Wall Type.
