Adding Muntins to Curtain Wall Door

I would like to add muntins to the storefront door family that is used to insert a door into a curtain wall. The door family inserts properly into a wall, but I cannot get the muntins to flex correctly. The family is on the left in the image below, and the muntins are created by using an extrusion that is locked to reference planes.

The right side of the image shows how the muntins are not flexing properly in the 'project'. Is there an issue with locking extrusions to the linework in the family? Should they be locked while editing the extrusion or after the extrusion is made?

Try locking to reference planes, not geometry. Share the file if it still giving you troubles.

Thank you for looking at this issue. I've tried locking the extrusion to both geometry and reference planes, both while editing the extrusion and after completing the extrusion. It just doesn't seem to flex properly. I hope you can tell me what I am going wrong. Thanks again!

Oops! I can't seem to attached files ??

You need to add another 2 dimensions to your reference plane, one between the Left and Left of EQ, the other one between the Center and the Right of EQ

You may need to add the Center reference plane if you do not have one. Just add a reference plane and EQ dimension it between Left and Right.

Awesome, and thank you! That worked great.
