Adding in a new parameter into a model with multiple types

Hi there,

I would like to add in a new parameter to one of my families and was wondering if there was a way to make it so you don't have to go through every type and add it individually instead if there was a way to make it add to all the different types in one go. i have thought about creating a template family with the parameter already added and then just copping  and them model into it and just saving as but i feel like that would just take the same amount of time as adding them individual.

Any other ideas on how to do this (attached pics for further info )

Never Mind i ended up created a shared parameter which was allowed it to be added to all the other types, But is there a way so that the parameter name and value is copied to the other types instead of just the name?

Family Template? Curious. I'm not seeing how that would help you after the fact.  How are you envisioning it working?

Rushforth Tools would help you. Might be a great investment to make.

Every Type has the same value for this Parameter? If so, just stick the value in the Formula for the Parameter .. just for one Type.  The rest of the Types will populate automatically.
