Adding fields to my schedule table

Hi All!

Could anyone suggest, how I could add two fields to my existing schedule table:

1. Ceiling Heights (I also want this to auto-populate)

2. Comments

Currently my room schedule table looks like the attached screenshot.

Comment should be an available parameter field. Ceiling Height would need to be added via Project Parameters if you don't have it already.

Can you explain in a detail, how to use project parameters to include ceiling height in my schedule table? (I want it to auto-populate, I can't find an option for ceiling height to be automatically detected)

Auto-populate? The Schedule will report whatever value you enter into the "Ceiling Height" Parameter of the individual Room properties. Just like the way Comments works.

...you know, you might get the result you want from the "Limit Offset" Parameter.  Have you tried that?  If it works for your purposes, you can always rename the Column to "Ceiling Height".

If the ceiling in each room is not sloped and/or stepped then you can do the following:\

- Turn on Volume for Room computation.

- Make sure all Rooms Limit offset is at least equal or higher then the ceiling height.

- Add a Calculated value parameter (Length) to the schedule to dived room Volume / room Perimeter.
