Adding Custom Watermarks

Hello Support Team,

I work for an architectural product company and have been tasked with adding watermarks to our 360 Revit renderings. We will be sharing our work with many clients and wish to have the images available to the public, but we do not wish to have our competitors duplicate or use our work. I know I can add a watermark via Photoshop to the resulting PNG file, however, I was wondering if there was a way to add a watermark directly to the Revit model and it render with the watermark from the start (I'm hoping I can have a watermark on the Revit generated URL of the 360 view rendering). Is this even possible and if so how can I do it?

Sincerely,

Joey

Can't you select a background image for renders? Use an image that you've set up with a watermarked pattern?

I can and have tried that but we mostly deal with interior scenes with opaque or reflective windows so you cannot see the exterior or background. I was hoping there would be a way to manipulate the background so that it could appear closer to the camera position point, or attach a PNG to the camera itself so that the PNG/watermark stays in the bottom left corner of the rendering at all times (have it act as some sort of camera filter if you will).

I'm not aware of any way to dynamically add a "bug" (or digital on-screen graphic); as you've noted that's typically done in post.  Might be something for the IdeaStation.

In the meantime you might try something a little off-the-wall, such as adding a subtle repeating watermark to some of the commonly used materials like the window glass.

Thank you guys for your help. I do believe this will be a suitable alternative for now (the subtle repeating watermark that is). Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Joey

If you want to add your custom watermarks on photo or video, you can try Apowersoft Watermark Remover. I have been using this tool for almost a year now, and I can say that it is a simple yet helpful tool for users who are having a problem on how to remove and add watermark to their photos and videos. What is more interesting about this tool is that you can actually customize your own watermark.

Main features:
1. Batch remove watermarks from photos and videos both.
2. Add text/image watermarks to videos and photos.
3. Offers three watermark selection tools: Marquee tool, Polygonal Lasso tool, and Brush tool for watermarks in different types.
4. Support nearly all commonly used photo and video formats.
5. Process files quickly while keeping the original quality.
6. An intuitive interface and support drag-and-drop format.
