adding a slab under a garge

i was wondering why when you add a floor and choose the inside line of the wall 

it really7 doesnt go to the inside edge and when you hit the check it askes to delete part of the wallwhy doesnt it

go to the ind=side wall?

when i use rectangle then it does pick each corner and now remove the wall message

Sorry, but I don't understand the question. Can you post some screenshot showing what you are seeing?  The RVT did help.

Do you mean using pick walls? You can untick "extend into wall (to core)"... Not sure if that's what you're after.
