Add schedule level to an array group

Hello,

I've created some light fixtures in Revit but I notice that two light types that I created using array fuctiion doesn't have schedule level assigned to them. When I try to add the level in a group, I can only add it one fixture at a time. Is there a way to add the schedule level for the entire group at once?

I don't have any issues here. Everyone of your Light Fixtures are associated to a Level at my end.  Are these total counts accurate?

Yes but if I want to copy some light fixture arrays (A-LL.01 for example) from one level to another then those lights don't get associated with the level where I've pasted those lights. How do I copy arrays and assign them to the correct level? If I go into the array group, it lets me assign levels to one fixture at a time instead of the whole group together.

Are you saying the Light Fixtures that are inside the Array/Group don't report the Level they are on?  I'm not asking  about the Array/Group. I'm asking about the Light Fixtures.

I just looked back at you model and it looks like you are scheduling Light Fixtures -- not Model Groups. The Light Fixtures in the Model Group being copied to different Levels seem to being accurately reporting their Levels in my testing.  What's going on at your end?

@Anonymous

When you place an lighting fixture, the "Schedule Level" parameter is innitially assigned (can be changed later) based on the level of the element hosting the family.

The problem is if the families you are grouping are Face Based families. When you paste such groups, the elements of the group will lose their host because the host (face) is outside the group and subsequently those families will lose the scheduled level and you end up needing to assign it manually or using Dynamo.

The way to solve that is to either include the host in the group when possible or ideally use Wall Based, Floor Based or Ceiling based families. Those when grouped they SHOULD detect the host on the new level you are pasting them to and assign the Schedule Level parameter automatically.

Yes they' re accurate at my end as well. I think what RDAOU said is what is hapening. I'm using face based fixtures and therefore when I copy them, they lose the connection with the face.

I see. In the future I will use wall, ceiling and floor based fixtures but for the moment how can I use dynamo to assign the level?
