Adaptive family slight rotation

Hello,

I chose to put an adaptive family planter system in my project because a sweep wouldn't be able to curve and morph the way the Project architect wants. however when placing the adaptive family in the project and hosting it to an object it was rotated 270 degrees. Yesterday I received some help on this forum and checked the always vertical box, that reduced the rotation greatly, however there is still a slight curve.

I need the Highlighted blue family to be straight up and down. I've tried checking always vertical, as well as all the "orients to" options within the family itself. this is really stumping me and google isn't really helping. I was hoping a member of the community could help me with this problem.

Hey @kirkpatricktFKQC2,. I was helping you yesterday. So you are still struggling I see.  The reason the Orient To isn't working, is because your Form Profile is pathed along a Ref. Line. The Ref. Line is slightly twisted.  Take as look at it.   Orient to doesn't affect Ref. Lines -- just Adaptive Points.  Maybe the Adaptive Point Approach won't cut it.  Have you tried  sweeping the Profile along the edge -- or sweep-blend the Profile to Profile?

Hi,

After showing the Problem to my superior, he decided to just place a floor there instead. I used sub elements to get the slope correct for the floor. thanks for your advice!
