Adaptive Component on divided surface nodes not oriented correctly

Hello,

Getting some problems when placing a 4-point Adaptive Component family on the nodes on a Divided Surface resulting from an Intersects List using Reference Planes.

Some instances get placed correctly but some others do not. See image below.

This behavior happens when I use the Repeater and when I place them individually.

Family and Model file with test attached.

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance

Is this what you are after:

Remove Repeater and Flip.

I can get there too by changing the APs' Orients to Parameter to Global (z) then Host (xy).

Result after reloading:

That is a workaround and it does work, thank you @barthbradley .

Is it realistic to try to understand why using the Repeater does not produce the same result?

It does work with Repeater.  Change the APs Orients to parameter as I showed above.  I included a link as well.

Well, it worked on my end.  Did you change the Orient to Parameter for ALL the APs?

See attached...

Yah, I just realized your file was 2021.  It doesn't seem to work in 2021.

See attached 2021.  Open Family. I rebuilt it. Got rid of the Profile Families. Note OFFSET Parameter.  You can figure out what to do with it or just rebuild it yourself without the nested Profiles.  Bottom line: the Profiles were the problem.
