Dealing with several options. I was wondering if there was a way to hotkey "active only". I f^%$& hate that little checkmark, 5%-10% of my apm is taken up clicking it. Otherwise, is there another way of dealing with it - keeping it off by default perhaps?
I'm not sure if there's a way to keep the box unchecked by default, but you could undock the Design Options tool from the ribbon, and use "Pick to Edit" to change which design option is active.
Hi
Design option is a nice feature.. but bit tough to work smoothly..
Create Shortcut for Deisgn Option
Create shortcut
Choose the Option and Edit Selected..
You may even try Phases..its counter-intuitive but works amazingly instead of using design options...
there are no interference or clashes or errors like Design options..
Create multiple phases.
Various View - assign phase.... so that anything modelled by default goes into active views phase..
Phases are easy for Schedule as well
Create multiple phases..
Hello,
Great idea with the phases, will have to try it.
Revit being Revit, it tends to shoot itself in the foot in so many different ways with Options. It's unfortunate as I like to design as much as I can using Options.
