I want to activate the dimension so I can change the width of the corridor . However when I press the activate dimension button it does NOT work . Usually I dont have such an issue and its my first time encounteriing such issue.

The file is attached for further perusal.

Hi!

You have to unlock dimension to be able to move this wall.
Take a look at screenshot.

Hi @Anonymous,

@semko_dm is right.

Locking dimensions is a very powerful tool in Revit, but it comes with its consequences as well.

First of all, be carefull to leave enough freedom for flexing what needs to be (you will see that in your case, by locking the overall dimension, and then the dimensions on the sides of your corridor, you give no flexibility to the last one...)

Be careful as well. When deleting a locked dimension, the constraint can stay.

You will need to use the following tool:

It makes contraints visible even if the diemension has been deleted.

Hope this complement of information helps,
