Acquiring ownership of MEP model(s) while in Arch model.

How would somebody own elements, links of the MEP model(s). Would it be from them moving the links with in the Arch model? They are not going into the MEP model(s), so I am not sure what is going on? It seems to be fine when they get into the MEP model and the synch it. Not sure why they need to do that.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

DaltonG

The Linked MEP model is likely on its own workset. If a user borrows or owns that workset, they would have "control" of it until they STC/relinquish.

That would effect people in the MEP models?

No, it would not affect users working on the MEP model. It would affect users in the Host model--for instance, they may not be able to Reload the Linked MEP model until user X relinquishes and STC.

The thing that I am finding is somehow people that are only working in the Arch model are somehow acquiring ownership in the MEP model.
