ACIS (.sat) import

Hello everyone, I am having issues importing a sat file. We have this complex ceiling that was made in rhino and we have been importing it into Revit via the sat format. It has been working excellent....until now. All we did was trim the surface a few feet (in Rhino), re-exported, and swapped out the old with the new. The new sat file though brought in these extra "folds" that are not in the rhino model (see attached) and this new surface we cannot do wall by face on it anymore. we assume it as something to do with those "folds." If anyone has any suggestions as to how to fix the surface or a better way in which to import the surface, that would be amazing!Annotation 2019-10-15 113021.jpg

Lovely screenshot.  It doesn't help though.  Better to post the file.

It is not letting me upload the .sat or the .rvt file..... It just takes me back to the edit message.  The screenshot was just to show all of the wrinkles that were forming. I am also including a second screenshot of the same are at a different angle to describe what I am talking about as you look at the file. You'll be able to see the dark blue line of the profile, but you will notice that the surface is not being constrained to that line. I wasn't sure If I was just exporting or importing correctly.
