I am so frustrated at the moment. Does anyone know why My Revit is showing weird colour for a particular wall in an elevation view? The white wall is the right material to show, but I don't know why the upper level is showing dark grey.
- They look all good in any other view but not elevation view
- They are the same wall type, same finish/ material
- Neither of them is using render appearance
- No paint or override graphic has been applied
- If I paint whatever material or colour on the grey wall it will still show grey
- If I delete the grey wall and copy over the white wall underneath it will still show grey

hello, try to switch off your use hardware acceleration from options and see if helps. thank
What visual style is currently active?
You probably have a wrong setting with the graphic display options.
Are the shadows active in that particular view?
Hi @Anonymous
Are you using phases? if so please check the phase the view is on.
Going with @markcalloway 's suggestion about Phases....is the upper floor on the Existing Phase? You may want to edit your Phase Settings and delete the Phase-Existing under Materials. I tend to delete all of the materials in that column.
Right click on the object, override it's graphic settings to what you want it to be.
Hi @Anonymous
Can you share a file to test and a journal?

Thank you @markcalloway . It is the phasing issue. As there are a lot, I forgot to check if they are the right ones to use. I thought it was very complex to fix but did not realise it would always come back to a simple one. Thanks again!
