A short command to place a model in exact positon?

If I want to move a certain object from a position with an exact lengt from an example a wall, is that possile? If you see the picture for example my goal is to have a command where i can quick set the wall as a start position, and be able to drag it out a certain lenght from the wall. Its easy and possible in autocad, I really miss this type of quick doing. Thanks for help

Use Move or Copy tool then you can type in the value of the distance.

My goal is to quickly be able to move a certain object from a specifik point (example middle of the room) to a specific lenght from wall. For example in the picture i am moving a bed, and I want to to be in the center of the room, 300mm from the wall. Is that able to do this task in one move/command? Thankyou for your answer, I hope you understand my issue

You should take advantages of Revit tools such as dimensions and temporary dimensions instead of try to use it like in AutoCAD. They work differently but both get to the same results.

For that specific example, you do need two actions: 1 - a dimension wall - center of bed - wall and tick EQ; 2 - a dimension wall - head of bed = 300.

Short answer: no. The way you are doing it is the way to do it. Long answer: sometimes elements do have a line marking the center, with the align tool you could align bed and window/door for example. But fully automatic, no sorry.
