3D view not updating - 2019 Student version

My section view and 3D view do not update together.

As you can see in the attached I have been able to cut the ends of the roof joists visible in the section view and they show in 3D but the moved fascia only shows in it's new position in the section view.

This remains the case if I exit and restart Revit.

Can anyone shed any light on this behavior?

Looks to me like Details -- not Model Geometry -- being shown in Callout View.

No it's not. I tried another section with the attached result. I then deleted the fascia in 3D view and instead of disappearing it dropped down to where it should be!

Strange behavior in anything but Revit.
