Dear Hivemind,
My team member has a problem with a large project he is working on. The geometry and shadows in 3D Perpective View (fairly basic View Template, hidden line and shadows)
See attached image for the issue. The project survey and base point are very far from the modelling area. It was set up before I arrived and in my opinion incorrectly.
Do we think the issue is distance from these points or a graphics driver problem?

Well, how far is the 3D perspective view being taken from? If it is just a 3D perspective view then the distance of the survey point shouldn't really count for the quality of image you see, it is dependant on the view the camera is seeing it from.
It may be a graphics issue? Maybe try purging the model, make sure thin lines are switched on, and make sure there aren't any overrides in visibility graphics
Hope this helps
